Community commitment

While most of the work you will see performed by Iredell Health System (IHS) personnel and physicians does take place within facility walls, IHS provides services to the community through charity care, health screenings, educational programs, support groups, cash and in-kind donations, covering the cost of salaries in such key areas as school nurses, and more. As part of the community, IHS leadership believes in "giving back" whenever possible.

IHS and our employees support a variety of agencies and charities that also strive to improve the health and lives of local citizens. Among those are the March of Dimes March for Babies, the annual United Way campaign, the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.

Community Health Needs Assessment

The Iredell County Community Health Needs Assessment provides Iredell Health System with current information about the health needs of Iredell County and information to address priority health concerns in Iredell County, the Health System’s primary service area. The research is conducted every 3 years.
